Dry Rot Paint - creates a No Go Zone for Dry Rot - prevents surface spread of Dry Rot - 2.5 litres. For DIY amateur and trade professional use. This is a white emulsion paint containing Polyphase, a fungicide which is incorporated in the paint film when it dries - amazingly Rot will not walk across this coating! This effect has been tested by the Government backed Building Research Establishment (B.R.E.) - the 'Gold Standard' in testing facilities for the Building industry. The paint can be used on timber and masonry, and it creates a 'No Go Zone' for Rot, regardless of future dampness problems. It has no smell and no vapour. How is it installed? * by drilling an 8mm diameter hole to a depth of 110mm in the 'at risk' timber or masonry How does it work? * the blue detector dye, that is vacuum impregnated into the wooden dowel, reacts to the chemical that Dry Rot produces - oxalic acid - at very low levels, turning the dye to yellow.

For Spraying difficult to reach spaces and hidden voids - under floors, via hatches or air bricks. The Microblower, which can be hired or purchased, takes fluid from a conventional electric spraying pump (or DPC Injection pump) at very low pressure - only 5 psi is required at the nozzle. The Microblower then adds a large volume of air into the special Ultra Vortex Nozzle, which results in a coarse droplet spray carried in a column of air - ideal for reaching hidden voids in roof spaces and under floors. The range is up to about 33 feet (10 metres) in still air. | MICROBLOWER 110 volt
Special, Ultra Vortex Nozzle Creates a 10 metre plume of spray, for reaching obscure places. Has a 7.5 metre long air hose. Requires a Transformer and a feed pump to operate. | Microblower - Buy or Hire Buy Microblower, 110 volt Hire Microblower, 110 volt, one week Delivery or collection of Microblower Note - DPC and Spraying Pumps also available to buy or Hire.

TQ12 2SN Tel: 01626 331351 Fax: 01626 331143 E Mail: help@propertyrepairsystems.co.uk WOOD PRESERVATIVE AND BIOCIDE SAFETY Use Wood Preservatives and Biocides safely. Always read the label and product information Data Sheet before use. Wear the correct safety equipment and keep unprotected people and animals out of the treated area for the statutory period given on the label, or until surfaces are dry, which ever is the longer. All products have some hazards and the COSHH Regulations (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) apply to ALL building repair and construction products that we sell, even Cement. If in doubt consult us for free technical help. Take care not to contaminate soil, waterways or the environment with the product or the waste and packaging. These can be returned to us for disposal. Avoid using any type of chemical in your home if any of the following are likely to come into contact with the spray or treated surfaces: animals, fish, birds, babies, young children, asthmatics, pregnant women or those vulnerable due to ill health. On-going European reclassification of Pesticides has resulted in our Borax product having to carry a warning label (for the first time since 1890) on all products used at over 5.5% BAE concentration. This label is a warning that if you eat the product and then became pregnant you might give birth to a slightly underweight baby, or, if you are a male, suffer a slight reduction in the size of your testes. The tests, on rats, required them to eat the human equivalent of 18 level teaspoons full of Borate (DOT) per day for 2 years. We believe that you are unlikely to do this and the lack of any other negative evidence, despite the severely critical European Review process, suggests that this product is very safe indeed. Woodworm treatment products do not need to even reach the 5% concentration level to be effective, so are not subject to any additional labelling, because of their unblemished safety record.
